This policy explains how Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd ("Azury Digital", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use MyWorkBase, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

1. Who we are

MyWorkBase is a product of Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13446812). Our registered office is 23a The Precinct, London Road, Waterlooville PO7 7DT. You can contact us about privacy at info@azurydigital.co.uk.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC188926.

2. Controller and processor

When you deal with us directly — an enquiry, your account, a subscription — we are the data controller of your information.

When you use MyWorkBase to store information about your own customers or subcontractors, you are the controller of that data and we act as your data processor under a data processing agreement, handling the data only on your instructions and to provide the service.

3. What we collect

• Contact details you give us (name, email, phone, business name) when you enquire or sign up.
• Account and business information for MyWorkBase (login email, your business details, and the records you choose to enter — customers, subcontractors, quotes, invoices and CIS/financial data).
• Payment information — card payments for your MyWorkBase subscription are handled securely by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details.
• Technical data such as basic server logs needed to run and secure the service.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide MyWorkBase and the features you've asked for — performance of a contract.
• To respond to enquiries and support you — legitimate interests.
• To take payment and keep proper business records — legal obligation / contract.
• For any optional marketing — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Cookies

Our website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The MyWorkBase app uses a single functional token to keep you securely signed in — this is essential to the service and isn't used to track you.

6. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service, acting as our processors: Stripe (subscription payments), an email delivery provider (to send invoices, reminders and account emails) and our UK hosting provider (which runs the servers your data sits on). We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

7. Where it's stored & how it's protected

Your data is hosted in the United Kingdom, encrypted in transit, with encrypted backups. We keep access tightly limited and take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. There's more detail on our Security page.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@azurydigital.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

10. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
